Architectural engineering, 2011

tutor : Jan Schevers

This course's goal was to build and reconstruct an important detail of a building of one's choice. The window-frame detail of Peter Zumthor's Kolumba museum in Cologne, was chosen because of its enormous beauty and eyecatching proportions. Without the support of any original drawings of the architect, we figured out how it could be built, and made the model on full 1:1 scale.
